The October Collection of Nike SB 2008


As usual, days before the end of the month parts of Nike SB’s collection from the month after surface the internet. The October collection yields the “Gold Rail” Dunk SB Low, multi-colored P-Rod 2, blue/black Zoom Tre A.D and red/blue Blazer Low SB. A very eclectic set of releases that offers smooth color combinations as well as bright and eye catching colors. However, the centerpiece of the four is appears to be the “Gold Rail” Dunk SB Low, a very sleek Dunk with a great story behind it.

Nike Huarache LE 2009 Preview ---good look




Nike’s 2009 line-up has developed quite nicely this year, although we are nearing only October, we have a good idea of what’s in-store. Pictured above are a trio of Huarache LE’s set to release next year. The first two consists of a tribal like design and subtle combinations of grey/blue/yellow and teal/navy/white. The last of the three is a simple white and red model that laces that tribal design. Look for all three to drop sometime next year.

Fragment Design x Nike Tennis Classic







The rumors are true indeed, the Fragment Design x Nike Tennis Classic will be releasing later next month. The four pack of Tennis Classics is adorned in buttery suede with perforations in the form of an outline marking the swoosh. Furthermore, the sneakers are equipped with the Fragment Design at the heel. Fragment Design never ceases to amaze us, this collaboration is nothing less than spectacular, four simple Tennis Classics consisting of a subtle combination of color and material. In addition, the Tennis Classic also features a Zoom Air insole, a new addition to the Tennis Classic. Release is scheduled for October 11th at Nort Berlin and a handful of other Tier 0 Nike retailers.

Nike Zoom Kobe IV




Have already seeing the debut of the fourth installment of Kobe Bryant’s signature sneakers with Nike, we get a more expanded view at a the upcoming line. The current reigning MVP’s Zoom Kobe IV is not limited to the traditional Los Angeles Lakers colors, it features more neutral make-ups including a Zoom Lebron-esque model in the first row, second column. However, we do get a choice of several Lakers inspired styles including a MPLS model. Lastly, the low-cut Kobe IV’s are finished off with Kobe Bryant’s autograph, clarifying that this is his signature shoe.

After several catalog scans of Nike’s basketball Spring 2009 releases, we get a look at the actual sneaker as well as several others. Taken from the Nike Canada Trade Show, sneakers including the Zoom Flight Club Tony Parker, Zoom Fun Police, Hypermax, and others are previewed. With this preview, the Spring 2009 collection looks very promising with the debut of new sneakers including the anticipated Hypermax and Fun Police. It is only 2008, but you can see highlights from the trade show after the jump.


Air Jordan 1 Retro Low Velcro ---Red/white/black







With the Countdown Pack series taking a back seat, the Air Jordan 1 has taken center stage for its display of its several different forms with one of the latest to be a low top velcro model seen above. Although it sports the classic white, red, and black combination, velcro straps replace laces, a feature on shoes we often connect to our childhood before we knew how to ties shoes.
