Look Back:Nike Air Griffey Max 2 (II) OG Black / Emerald

Retrospect Fridays are back, and since we have just learned the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 is releasing in 2009, we thought displaying the Nike Air Griffey Max 2 (II) OG was only right. The color scheme we have here is the Black / Emerald, a favorite amongst Seattle Mariners fans.
The Nike Air Griffey Max 2 (II) OG Black / Emerald released in 1997, and is the second signature shoe or Ken Griffey Jr. Carbon fiber is featured by the heel, the Ken Griffey signature bat swing is on the heel, and perforated side panel. Also, the Griffey Max 2 was the first in the Griffey line to contain a Air Max Cushioning all around. More pictures after the jump.

Nike SB Brazil Custom Series 3 | Dunk Low Artist Edition

Last November saw the release of the Nike SB Brazil Custom Series 2, a collection of Brazil exclusive Dunk Highs designed by Fabio Cristiano, Rodrigo Gerdal, and Cezar Gordo. For the third series, Fabio Cristiano, Cezar Gordo and Rodrigo Petersen are the three designers, Nike recalls two previous contributors in Cristiano and Gordo. Each sneaker consists of various designs along with unique color combinations. All three will be limited to 480 pairs each and will hit select Brazil Nike SB accounts on November 13th.

Married To The Mob x Nike Dunk High Supreme

There have been some pretty interesting collaborations lately, but this one might take the cake for the most surprising. Clothing brand Married To The Mob has teamed up once again with another sneaker company, Nike and the Dunk High Supreme.
In late July, Married To The Mob teamed up with Reebok, but their collab with Nike is a little more ornate. Married To The Mob incorporates a MOB logo on the lace-lock, while another MOB logo appears on the side panel. Furthermore, the sneaker is finished off with the logo on the tongue and black patent leather toe. The Married To The Mob x Nike Dunk High Supreme will only be released at Tier 0 accounts and will be limited in quantity. Now available at Patta.

Air Jordan I (1) Retro High Premier - Black / White / Varsity Red |Laser

Progressing in the countdown to the release of the Air Jordan I (1) Retro High Premier - Laser, Essence has announced that they will be shipping out the Air Jordan 1 on October 23rd. As mentioned before, this Air Jordan I (1) appears in an unconventional form which includes black, white, varsity red and a laser design on the toe box and on the sides of the sneaker.

Nike Tennis Classic

Getting a bit of love from Fragment Design earlier in the month, the Nike Tennis Classic is more than just the base for the collaboration, but has appeared in four new designs. The first of the four uses neutral colors like obsidian, granite and white. The second of the four is also another subtle sneaker that consists of black, anthracite and stealth. However, the last two feature a little bit more color with color-ways of baroque brown/sport red/yellow ochre and hemp/baroque brown. Nike Womens Air Force 1 - Metallic Summit / White - Deep Burgundy

Adding a little diversity to their Nike Air Force 1 collection, Nike has just released the Air Force pictured above, a simple model with a little twist. A consist design that has appeared on many Nike model is a matching swoosh and back heel panel, Nike uses the design but adds a quilted mid-panel, which sets apart from all the other simple Forces. Furthermore, a burgundy, white and metallic summit color-way combines to form a subtle mixture complimented by the middle panel.
